A minimum order value of $35 is required for all purchases. Please note that a $20 small order fee applies to all orders totaling $100 or less.

Deposit Requirement for All Orders

A 50% deposit is required for all orders and collected at the time of booking and secures your scheduled slot. It also covers the upfront cost of shopping your order.

The remaining balance is charged after shopping is complete and the final Costco receipt total is confirmed.

Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

  • Scheduling holds are non-refundable. Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested before shopping begins.

  • Perishable items cannot be returned after delivery for food-safety reasons

  • Report item issues immediately upon delivery

  • Missing items will be corrected the same day

  • If Costco requires an item back for a refund, I will handle the return directly with Costco

  • For quality issues, Costco’s return guidelines apply

Substitutions & Approvals

If an item is out of stock, I reach out before substituting. Your approval is required unless you’ve noted acceptance of alternatives on your list.

Policies:

  • I never substitute without your permission

  • You can specify “no substitutions” on any item

  • If I can’t reach you, the item is skipped

  • Photos are sent when clarification is needed

Special Handling Items

Some items require extra care or have limitations depending on weather, distance, or availability.

Handled Carefully:

  • Ice cream and frozen novelties (distance-dependent)

  • Delicate bakery items that can be stored cold

  • Large multi-item produce boxes

  • Bulk proteins (poultry, beef, fish)

  • Seasonal refrigerated items

May Be Restricted:

  • Extremely fragile or crush-prone bakery goods

  • Frozen items on long routes during heatwaves

  • Items requiring immediate refrigeration beyond workable time windows

Summary

I keep the shopping list focused on practical groceries, proper cold-chain care, and items that maintain quality during transport. Clear rules protect your order from start to finish and ensure every delivery is reliable, safe, and consistent.

FAQs

Why is there a 3% fee?

  • It covers secure electronic payment processing — not a markup.

Can I split delivery across addresses?

  • Each order applies to one address only. Split deliveries must be placed separately.

What about returns?

  • Defective or incorrect products may be returned per Costco policy. Additional delivery fees may apply for return trips.

Can I miss out on Costco sale items if I schedule later?

  • Yes. Sale items often have strict limits, and I can only buy what Costco allows. These items go to the day’s earliest scheduled orders, so late scheduling may mean missing out. Booking ahead gives you the best chance of getting limited sale items.
