Terms of Service – Co-Op Shopper Salt Lake Grocery Delivery
Effective Date: January 1, 20026
Welcome to Co-Op Shopper. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our grocery shopping and delivery services within the Salt Lake City area. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Service Overview
Co-Op Shopper provides scheduled grocery shopping and delivery services using structured ordering, sourcing, and fulfillment systems. Orders are fulfilled primarily from Costco and other supporting retailers based on availability.
All orders are completed manually by a dedicated shopper—not through gig-based delivery apps.
Orders & Payment Structure
Deposit Requirement
An 80% deposit of the estimated order total is required to begin shopping. Orders are not scheduled or fulfilled until the deposit is received.
Final Balance
The remaining balance is due prior to delivery. Final totals may vary slightly based on in-store pricing, substitutions, or weighted items. Delivery is released only once full payment is received.
Pricing & Fees
Service Fee
Orders include a structured service fee which covers:
-
Personal shopping time
-
Order coordination
-

-

Price Variations
Prices shown are estimates. Final pricing reflects actual in-store costs at time of purchase.
Payment Processing
A standard payment processing fee (typically ~3%) may be applied to transactions.

Delivery is scheduled within selected time windows based on your service area.
While we operate on structured routes, exact delivery times within a window are not guaranteed.

Accurate address and contact details

Availability to receive the order when required
Access & Delivery Conditions

After Shopping Begins
Once shopping has started:
-

Non-Payment & Order Release
Delivery is released only after full payment is received.
If final payment is not received before your scheduled delivery window:
-
Delivery will be postponed
-
Orders may be canceled if payment is not completed
In the event of cancellation due to non-payment:
-
Your deposit may be applied toward shopping time, return trips, and handling
-
Perishable and refrigerated items may not be refundable, as many cannot be returned to Costco
-
Additional fees may apply if significant time is required to process returns or manage inventory
