Deployment Partner Terms & Platform Guidelines
These terms outline how Deployment Partners work within the Co-Op Shopper platform. This is a structured system designed for consistency, scalability, and long-term reliability.
Platform Structure
Deployment Partners are provided with access to standardized grocery platform portals built on the Co-Op Shopper system.
-
Each portal includes a structured Costco-based product catalog
-
Platform workflows, pricing logic, and ordering systems are pre-configured
-
The system is not customizable beyond defined configuration options
The platform is designed to be deployed—not rebuilt.
No Backend or Database Access
To maintain system integrity and consistency:
-
Deployment Partners do not have access to the product database
-
Product additions, edits, and updates are managed by Co-Op Shopper
-
Platform logic, workflows, and system architecture cannot be modified
All catalog and system management is centralized.
Catalog Structure & Limitations
The platform operates with separate catalog systems.
-
Standard Costco catalog is included with each portal
-
Split multipacks and sampler items are part of a separate managed system
-
Advanced catalog features are only available when enabled
These systems are intentionally separated to ensure accuracy and consistency across all operators.
Portal Access & Usage
Deployment Partners receive access based on their selected plan.
-
Portal bundles are limited to the number included in the selected plan
-
Additional portals require an upgrade to the next tier
-
Portals are intended for active operator use—not resale or duplication outside the platform
Each portal represents one operator business instance.
Advanced Catalog Enablement
Advanced catalog features are offered as a managed platform upgrade.
-
Includes split multipack functionality and sampler offerings
-
Managed and maintained by Co-Op Shopper
-
Applied at the partner level and may be extended to supported portals
Deployment Partners do not manage or modify these systems directly.
Pricing & Business Independence
Deployment Partners operate as independent businesses.
-
Partners set their own pricing for clients
-
Co-Op Shopper does not participate in or manage client pricing agreements
-
Partners may offer additional services such as SEO, marketing, or support
The platform provides the operational foundation—partners build their business on top of it.
Platform Fees & Billing
Platform access is billed on a recurring monthly basis.
-
Fees are based on the selected portal plan and any enabled upgrades
-
Payments are required to maintain active platform access
-
Failure to maintain payment may result in suspension of portal access
All pricing is subject to updates with reasonable notice.
Acceptable Use
Deployment Partners agree to use the platform as intended.
-
The platform may not be copied, replicated, or reverse-engineered
-
System access may not be shared outside authorized use
-
Partners may not misrepresent ownership of the Co-Op Shopper platform
The system is licensed for use—not ownership of underlying infrastructure.
Branding & Representation
Deployment Partners may operate under their own brand while using the platform.
-
Partners may present their services independently
-
The Co-Op Shopper platform may be referenced as the system powering operations
-
Partners may not present the platform as their own proprietary software
This maintains clarity and protects platform integrity.
Modifications & Updates
Co-Op Shopper reserves the right to update the platform.
-
Catalog updates, system improvements, and feature enhancements may occur
-
Updates are applied centrally and do not require partner intervention
-
Changes are designed to improve performance, accuracy, and scalability
Relationship to End Clients
Deployment Partners are fully responsible for their client relationships.
-
Co-Op Shopper does not manage or interact with partner clients
-
Partners are responsible for service delivery, communication, and support
-
Any disputes between partners and their clients are handled independently
